These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Notes from Humanity, an initiative of Life Calling Foundation. By using this website or submitting materials, you agree to these terms.
1. Purpose of Notes from Humanity
Notes from Humanity is a public listening and archival project that collects handwritten notes, reflections, photographs, videos, and related materials exploring what it means to preserve our humanity in the Digital Age.
2. Participation
You may participate by printing a card, writing a note, photographing your note, uploading materials, submitting information, or contributing a video. You agree that any information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that your submission is your own original contribution or that you have permission to submit it.
3. Submissions and Release
Participant submissions are governed by the Notes from Humanity Release Agreement. By submitting materials, you agree to the release presented during the submission process and available at release.html.
4. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Notes from Humanity Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to submit materials that are unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, invasive of another person’s privacy, hateful, obscene, or otherwise harmful. Life Calling Foundation may remove, decline, archive, or withhold publication of any submission at its discretion.
6. No Guarantee of Publication
Submitting a note, photograph, video, or related material does not guarantee that it will be publicly displayed, featured, credited, archived publicly, or included in any exhibition, publication, campaign, film, research, or related project.
7. Intellectual Property
All website text, design, visual identity, structure, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Life Calling Foundation unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, modify, reproduce, or reuse website materials except for personal, noncommercial participation in Notes from Humanity.
8. Third-Party Services
The website may use third-party services for hosting, storage, uploads, analytics, forms, or related functionality. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.
9. Availability and Changes
We may update, suspend, modify, or discontinue parts of the website or participation process at any time. We may also update these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use of the website after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Disclaimer
The website and participation process are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Life Calling Foundation does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that submitted materials will be preserved indefinitely.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Life Calling Foundation and its representatives are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or participation in Notes from Humanity.
